Post Reactions

On occasion, the GM will ask the players to react to a post with an emoji to poll players or character choices on a decision.

Some examples of this may be: Picking which direction to go in during a mission, voting to agree or disagree with somebody during a meeting, or making a choice that may impact the plot. With some of these choices, you may be given the option to vote anonymously through a ticket and keep your decision a secret from all the other players!

Forum

A forum RP usually involves longer posts from the GM that may contain a lot of information!

You can take a while with your posts as these RPs will likely span over the course of a couple of days or more. In the event of a forum, you are free to make longer, literate posts.

Sometimes, for brevity's sake, the GM will offer the players a series of prompts to respond to a forum post. These can be art, roleplay, or writing prompts to earn you rewards and allow you to engage with the narrative.

*[No limit on word count.]*

Mission

When running a mission, the GM asks you to keep your posts brief to convey vital information such as actions and rolls. This allows the events to run at a much quicker pace!

*[Soft limit on posts to 3-4 lines in your textbox. Make sure you bold any actions that you would like to take so the GM can see them! If you would like to attempt something you may be unsure about, it’s always best to ping the GM.]*

Free RP

There may be an occasion where you may be allowed to take a pause and roam freely during a mission, in this case, you can allow for longer responses. This is called free RP.

After a free RP is finished, you may return to a shorter RP format reserved for missions. A free RP may allow you to interact with NPCs in the area or your teammates before moving on to the next phase of your adventure. You may also use this as an opportunity to heal your comrades.

*[Always ping and notify the GM if you choose to heal or perform any action the GM should take note of, just so they can keep track.]*

Quick-Time-Event

A quick-time event means that you will have to react fast within one minute.

Of course, you will be thoroughly warned before a QTE starts and most likely you will be asked to react to an emoji, or input an emoji or a word and send it in response to the QTE prompt.

Usually, the GM will pause before a QTE to make sure that everyone is in a place where they can pay attention to what is happening for the short duration of the QTE.

Thread

Threads function as a regular RP. Sometimes you will see a thread hosted by the GM allowing you to engage with NPCs. There are no rules on how long your post needs to be, it’s all down to your comfort. While there is no need to match the length of anyone’s post, it’s nice to engage with others.
